The biggest and most glaring difference between this mouse and the SteelSeries Diablo 3 mouse is the fact that the Logitech is wireless. Now many gaming guru’s will say that wireless and gaming do not mix however, the G700 allows you to plug in to your computer, not only to charge its battery but to also connect for times when precision is of the utmost importance.
The G700 has 13 well placed buttons that are easily programmable for anything you need during gaming. Each button has a special shape so that it is much more recognizable under times of duress. Not only are the buttons well placed and recognizable, the entire shape of the mouse was carefully designed to give an especially natural feel, affording the ability to game for hours without discomfort. Low- friction feet allow this mouse to glide smoothly over almost any surface.
The Logitech G700 Diablo 3 gaming mouse has 5 ready to use profiles of programmed buttons, so you can easily switch between character classes in your game. The wireless is surprisingly responsive. This is probably the best wireless mouse for gaming. Unfortunately this mouse is not supported by MAC and can only be used for Windows XP, Vista or 7.

In my opinion, if you are using Windows XP, Vista or 7, the Logitech G700 offers much more versatility in the way of number of programmable buttons and wireless capabilities. However, if you own a MAC or want the official Diablo 3 gaming mouse, than the SteelSeries is definitely the way to go.
